Update to Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 and Legacy Shapes disappear
System and Software updates are to improve things but some times they break everything. Like Windows 10 update 20H2 which is also known as October 2020 update is bringing Blue Screen of Death to life on NVME SSD's.
That is an error but some things are done intentionally. For example Microsoft has taken away System Properties and now when you right click on your This Pc and open Properties it will take you to a About page of which shows all the details. This is liked by some and hated by others and it is not an easy way to get the old one back unless you install the older version of Windows 10.
Just like the above example Adobe also has made some intentional changes in its Photoshop CC 2020 software. After we updated to Adobe Photoshop cc 2020 its Symbols which we used to see in Custom Shape tool were gone. The shapes that disappeared were symbols like Arrows, Banners, frames etc which we used often.
Luckily Adobe Photoshop did not removed them permanently and kept an option in the software to bring them back. Now I will tell you how to bring those old shapes / symbols back in to your Adobe Photoshop CC 2020.
How get back Old Legacy Shapes in Photoshop CC 2020
Open your Adobe Photoshop CC 2020.
In the Menu Click Windows and then Shapes.
That is it. You will now see all old shaped under All Legacy Default shapes.
